Delete Your Flexling Account
This page explains how to delete your account for Flexling, the language-learning app on flexling.com and in the apps for iOS and Android, operated by Paul Ermler.
In the app
Open Settings → Delete account and confirm with Request deletion. You are signed out straight away.
Without the app
Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it.
What we delete
Within 30 days we delete all personal data associated with your account, including your courses, your learning progress and the messages stored in the AI chat.
What we keep
- Invoice data, for 10 years, as tax law requires (§ 147 AO).
- The pseudonymised proof of consent for emails you had agreed to receive, for three years after the consent ends.
Plans bought on our website
If you have an active paid plan bought on flexling.com, the deletion waits until that plan is cancelled. Cancel it first under Settings → Plan.
Subscriptions from Google Play or the App Store
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription you bought on Google Play or in the Apple App Store, because only the store can do that. Please cancel it in your Google Play or App Store account settings first.
